An experienced nurse, who has specialised in all aspects of skin care, after qualifying from Lothian College of Nursing and Midwifery in 1994.
Prior to my nurse training Jackie worked as a dental nurse. Further to time spent working within the intensive care Neonatal unit in Edinburgh, she spent twelve years working within the commercial sector as a wound care specialist, giving advice on clinical aspects and also business strategy across Scotland. With a firm understanding of all aspects of the skin, the cosmetic industry has become her special interest.
Very few practitioners in the country are trained in aesthetic treatments to an advanced level, Jackie is delighted to be one of them and this advanced training allows herto perform treatments in areas such as the neck and lower parts of the face with Botox ® and to use dermal fillers to perform more complex treatments.
Jackie is a qualified nurse independent prescriber (NIP), as well as a board member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses. She is also the trainer for the Genuine DermaRoller, teaching doctors, dentists and nurses.
